Solutions

Nationwide Delivery

Your origination point has no bearing, as we can deliver anywhere your customers are across North America, including Canada and Mexico (inbound). From mission-critical shipments to standard cargo deliveries, you can trust us to coordinate your organization’s domestic agenda and logistics from the source to the final destination.

Freight Consolidation

Consolidation allows us to bundle several packages with the same destination point which lowers cost, increases security, and conserves miles. The consolidation warehouse can be used for receiving LTL and full truck loads for new stores and remodels and as shipments arrive, they will be inventoried and shipped out as full trucks or partials, as requested.

Logistics

We customize our programs to manage every level of the process as we transport your goods, products, or raw materials. This includes storing and warehousing, inbound and outbound scheduling, and customs brokerage (when applicable).

Specialty Services

White Glove And C2C Select Service

Our C2C Select service provides value for customers with more complex shipments that are a little bit off the beaten path. This premium service includes options for multiple delivery points, climate sensitive and fragile materials, and specific delivery needs and arrangements.

Network And Distribution

Nationwide Warehousing Support

If delivery of any shipment needs to be delayed we have a network of warehousing throughout the country that we can utilize. The product will be stored as close to the destination as possible to minimize additional delivery costs. We will keep track of all the inventory and schedule the redelivery.

Procedures for Freight Claims
  • The consignee must call Coast to Coast when they receive a damaged shipment.
  • All claims are to be filed in writing.
  • Carriers request a copy of the original invoice. Coast to Coast needs this as soon as possible.
  • If the equipment can be repaired the carriers will require a copy of an estimate or repair invoice which includes labor costs.
  • The original BOL from the consignee with notes of the damage.
  • It is extremely important to keep the shipping container and contents in the same condition they were in when damage was discovered until claim is settled. Do not move the damaged freight from the original destination unless the carrier or Coast to Coast notifies you to do so.
  • Coast to Coast feels that the consignee should take pictures of the damaged freight at the time of delivery and submit them to us.
  • The freight bill must be paid.
  • Coast to Coast must report any concealed damage to the carrier within 15 days of delivery. With a few carriers the time frame is much shorter, concealed damage must be reported as soon as possible or within 48 hrs after receipt.
  • Coast to Coast will pay the freight claim when we receive money from the carrier. This usually happens within 30 days.
